1. To set up notifications per user. User most open teams and select the 'Teams' option




2. Once selected click the channel and the 3 little buttons for 'more channel options' and select 'Channel Notifications'




3. To receive messages like team chat please follow the settings seen below.






  



4. Notifications will appear in the team's channel and the activity in Teams. 






5. If you do not see 'teams' on the side bar go to 'Settings' 

6. Go to 'Chat and Channels' and select 'separate' this will enable the 'teams' option. 

Otherwise, teams and channels will appear at the bottom of chat called 'teams and channels'
